BLM
has one of the largest machine shops in the Waikato,
with a constant workflow from the dairy, meat, pulp and paper,
agricultural, construction and forestry industries.
The machine shop is well equipped and has five centre lathes, two CNC lathes, four milling machines, three drills, a slotter,
a machining center and five assorted machines for gear manufacture.

wide range of equipment in the machine shop is well complimented
by the experience of the workshop staff, some of whom have
been with the company for more than 20 years.
The
scope of activities carried out by the machine shop ranges
from repair & maintenance projects to new component manufacturing
for OEM clients.
The
shop provides machining services to several companies manufacturing
equipment for the food, dairy and beverage industries and
is well experienced in providing high quality components that
meet the exacting standards of these industries.
