Jon is NZCE Mechanical qualified and has a background in mechanical engineering with over 35 years industry experience. He has worked for BLM since 1978, starting "on the tools", progressing to shareholder in 1985. Jon oversees a range of corporate tasks including administration, finance and resources, as well as working with select clients within the production environment.
Don looks after the day to day management, sales, health and safety and planning for the future of BLM Engineering.
Having a trade background as a Fitter-Welder, he has worked on many mechanical projects and sites throughout New Zealand and overseas.With a Management Diploma and 25+ years as a manager, Don has the ability to direct complex projects from concept to full operational status, with a focus on delivering quality engineering services he leads his team to be a turnkey engineering solutions provider.
Tony is a qualified Fitter Machinist (National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering 0 Fitting and Machining, L4) who began at BLM as an apprentice and has worked his way to Machine Shop Manager after a period in Australia rebuilding and crewing land based oil drilling rigs. Tony brings a wealth of knowledge to BLM with his experience in fitting and turning and mechanical works, His knowledge covers a wide range of industries including, but not limited to, dairy, quarrying, oil and gas and ISO tanks and overall general engineering.
Divisional Manager – Fabrication Shop
Evan holds a National Certificate in Engineering - Fabrication (Heavy Fab L4) and has worked from BLM since 2012 starting as an apprentice and has worked his way to being our Fabrication Shop Foreman.. His wealth of experience enables him to meet customers’ expectations in a professional and timely manner, and ensure we produce quality work that is up to industry standards.

Nick is our lead mechanical maintenance provider with an emphasis on performing preventative maintenance tasks, providing quality work and meeting deadlines to keep our customers sites operational. Nick served his apprenticeship with another company in order to learn different skill sets, which he brought to BLM when he joined the company in 2007.
